We do not ship to the United States or Canada.
Delivery charges:
For deliveries to the UK, our standard postage charge is £2.00, except for heavier or 'next day' items where the charge is based on the increased costs of postage. For example, a ghd Hair Styler weighs 1.4kg and is sent via next day delivery. The charge in this case would generally be around £5.00.
For international deliveries, all delivery charges are based on the weight and destination of the parcel.
Credit card payments:
Your order will only be processed if your credit card billing address, card security code and 3D security can be verified by our credit card payment acquirer. Only at our discretion we will ship to a separate delivery address. We have introduced these precautions for the safety of our customers and us.
Shipping and Delivery Time
We dispatch your order on the day of receipt if we receive your order before our cut off time and if we have the order in stock (Please see our opening hours). Our cut off time is normally 3PM on weekdays. If we do not have your order in stock, our website will tell you when we will expect the goods to arrive. You will be given the opportunity to cancel that part of the order if you so wish. We may send your order in more than one package if some items are not in stock; however we will only charge you one postage fee. All small packages are sent via Royal Mail and most next working day deliveries are sent via Citylink. For UK addresses, please allow a total delivery time of 3-10 business days for all Royal Mail First Class packages and Royal Mail Recorded Delivery items. A signature is required for the delivery of Recorded Delivery items. For Recorded Delivery items, we will provide you with a tracking number. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com.
For Next Working Day Delivery packages, delivery is guaranteed next business day before 5:30PM (8PM in November and December). Your valid order must be with us before 3PM to guarantee dispatch on the day of your order. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your package. You may track your parcel at www.royalmail.com or http://www.city-link.co.uk/track_parcel/track_parcel.php. Please note that it is Royal Mail or Citylink who guarantee the delivery on the next working day, not Jason Shankey Limited. Complaints about Royal Mail Special Delivery should be made to Royal Mail and complaints about Citylink should be made to Citylink. Working days are classified as Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
We are unable to refund next day charges for delays under certain circumstances, such as inclement weather conditions, incorrect entry of address, industrial action, civil unrest, unforeseen technical difficulties and/or public holidays.
For International deliveries, delivery times depend on the efficiency of your country's mail service. Western European parcels normally arrive within 4 to 7 working days, but you should allow up to 2 weeks. For the rest of the world, please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. A signature is often required upon delivery for international parcels.
If the carrier has recorded a failed delivery and the goods are returned to us as you failed to pick up the goods within the time limits imposed by the carrier, we will treat this as a cancelled order and we will make a charge not exceeding £10.00 to cover our costs in resending these goods out to you. You will also be charged postage at our current tariff if you require the goods to be re-delivered.
We regret that we cannot be held responsible if the carrier has failed to notify you of an attempted delivery. You will need to take this up with the carrier.
In the unlikely event that your goods have been lost in transit, we are unable to refund or resend goods until our enquires have been completed. This can take up to 15 working days as a trace will need to be issued to track your goods. In most circumstances this will be resolved sooner. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, jasonshankey.co.uk shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods or, at their discretion, refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question PROVIDED THAT you notify jasonshankey.co.uk of the problem in writing (quoting your Invoice number) at the address stated at the bottom of your confirmation email within 7 working days of delivery of the goods (subject to enquiries being completed).
A re-postage fee will be charged for any order that is refused on delivery or not collected by the customer.
Jasonshankey.co.uk does not accept liability for:
- Losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made.
- Losses that were not caused by any breach on the part of jasonshankey.co.uk.
- Business losses and/or losses to non consumers.
- Goods delivered to Work/Alternative addresses given by the cardholder.
